Julia is originally from the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts and came out to the Philadelphia area to get her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Temple University. After receiving her Master’s in Social Services from Bryn Mawr College, Julia entered the world of early intervention. She joined Kutest Kids Early Intervention in 2014 and became the Clinical Director of Operations at Kutest Kids Early Intervention while continuing to maintain a caseload of clients. In 2016, she designed and opened, Kids at Play which is an indoor sensory playground for kids of all abilities to come and play. In 2018, Julia received her Certificate in Executive Leadership from Bryn Mawr’s Nonprofit Executive Leadership Institute. Julia’s passion project has always been Kids at Play Foundation and while undergoing treatment for a rare cancer in 2021, decided it was time to finally incorporate as a 501c3!
